LabTEC is a dedicated corona device for laboratories. Because the device is a testing device, the matching discharge generator must be strictly controlled. The adhesion problem of PE, PE, TPO and EPDM materials has always caused people a lot of trouble. Medical laboratory products made of PS have poor wettability and cannot attach cells, so they need to be treated in a certain way to improve their wettability. Tantec's corona serves this purpose. Its working principle is that particles interfere with the surface of the object through discharge under normal pressure, and generate new polar functional groups, thereby improving the adhesion and wettability of the object surface.
The benchtop LabTEC is designed to handle small polymer materials, including 3D parts and films.
LabTEC is designed for small batch production in laboratory R & D and model factories. The equipment includes a high-frequency discharge generator, a high-voltage transformer, and a processing platform. After the discharge generator increases the output voltage through the high-voltage transformer, it can generate high-frequency energy.
The high-voltage output is connected to stainless steel or ceramic electrodes through insulated high-voltage cables.
